I definitely enjoyed my time with FAM. PRES. I learned a lot about myself, new mindfulness excersizes & even how to use my treatment & sobriety for not only myself worth but for a career in peer support & psychology! I had the best Group Leader EVER, *Jessica* she turned what I dreaded most & really disagreed with doing, into something that I could actually enjoy for once, I had fun with good ppl who were also in treatment & I actually looked forward to my groups 3x a week! Unfortunately I went through a very traumatic experience & ended up relapsing & dismissed myself from the program with only 5 groups away from graduation 😔 HOWEVER, all of the employees at FAM. PRES. Provided me with every opportunity & 2nd chance that a person could ask for & were beyond understanding, super nice & incredibly considerate to me even in my troublesome times! Despite the current star rating & the previous unfortunate experience's for some clients, Its really all based on YOU, YOURSELF & What helps you most on your path to Sobriety! Some therapists & there ideas of therapy aren't the best match for certain clients (I don't like a lot of mindfulness excersizes with the deep breathing & yoga stretches & wild sounding music lol I'm more of "close yoir eyes & picture this" & really the common excersizes like simple coloring & sharing experiences) If you don't like the group you're with just let them know & they'll definitely work with you on changing it to where you can! Even if it means switching to another therapist! I say don't deny it until you try it 👍
The staff I have dealt with are very knowledgeable. I don’t have any complaints. I’ve been pretty impressed with them.
This place saved my life. Absolutely amazing.
Christine is AWESOME.
Mrs. Spring is an excellent child counselor. My 3 y/o daughter really enjoyed her visit's with her.
Before being scheduled to see a psychiatrist here save yourself from having to interact with one of the rudest and most unprofessional doctors out there and request it be with another of their psychiatrists, not Dr. Sillars.
